Time to upgrade from 560Ti?

I've recently started getting back into gaming.

Tomb Raider, Max Payne, Hitman etc.

I currently have a 560Ti, with a custom twin cooler that I fitted when I originally bought the card.

I was thinking about maybe looking for something a little newer. Not sure if it's the time to be doing it? or holding out?

Budget of roughly £150 give or take

PC Specs;

I5 2500K
8GB DDR3 RAM
128GB Crucial M4
Z68AP-D3 Mobo

A 660 is within your budget and if you have the 1GB version of the 560Ti, the extra 1GB is nice for 1080P gaming.

Check the comparison between the two cards and decide if it is worth it here

Is the joker card seen as the better of the two?

If it's the 'XT' version, then it'll be the same as the VTX (1536 cores), though I think Club 3D also made a Joker edition which wasn't labelled as the XT, too.

All the joker cards ive seen are XT.

Club3D's site shows one with 1536 cores, and one (non-XT) with 1280 cores, so if you go for a Club3D card make sure you get the right one.

Unless you live in the States, I wouldn't suggest XFX due to their poor reputation for rma / customer service, which is a shame as some of their products look great (much like Asus).

Brands I would look to are Gigabyte, EVGA, KFA2 and MSI.

I'd go with the MSI card to be honest. Better warranty and I've heard some negative opinions on the Double Dissipation cooler on the XFX cards.

The price difference is virtually none after the £10 MSI cashback deal anyway.

EDIT: Sorry, just realised the cashback deal expired yesterday. You can still get 3% Topcashback/Quidco, though.
