time to upgrade my graphics card :D

Hi guys need help with choosing a new graphics card to fetch my pc from the dark ages
my spec is as followed
- CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K 3.40GHz @ 4.40GHz Ivybridge CPU
- Motherboard: MSI Z77A-G43 Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
- RAM: TeamGroup Elite 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel
-OCZ ZS650w
-Palit 250gts e green eek
now i want to be able to play games such as dayz on decent settings not low ones like i currently do.
My budget £200
Whats the best on the market guys ?

7950 is still the better option imo. Even at the slightly higher price. Shop around.

And I have to say - I am very impressed with the results, having gone from a 6670 running crossfire with my onboard APU graphics this is a MASSIVE improvement - and it fits into your £200 budget quite nicely

Has to be 7950 and sell games, the 7870xt is a nice card but too close to the 7950 in price. I may be cynical but do you think 7950 prices have nudged up a bit to accomodate the 7870xt price.

I was thinking the same thing had it not been for all the cards have seemed to gone up in price

Ah no i hadn't. When i saw 1050p at the top i thought it was a typo for 1080p

My new card arrived today and what a difference its made tested it on sleeping dogs with everything turned up on full on both cards managed 12fps on my old card compared to 60 on the 7950. Also tested Dayz i used to get 20fps on low settings with my old card but with new card and everything on very high i get 60 again RESULT!!!
