This is an old project, possible my first time also doing something 'timelapse' related. The car is a 1996 Honda Integra Type R (DC2). Video quality is decent and it I included the car sounds, not sure it was a good idea as with the video being sped up it makes it sound more like a motorbike nearly :p

but anyway here's the vid, enjoy!

Is it legal to drive like that over there?

I doubt it and it always amazes me when people are stupid enough to film them using roads as a race track and then posting the videos online :D

To answer some questions:

- yes the video is sped up, x2 i think
- I'm not sure if it is because its the way it's sped up, but if you were to watch the original video file the driving isn't over the top crazy or the car wasn't been driven 'flat out' or at 140mph+ speeds. Yes on a small few occasions corners were cut (you'll see that on a regular basis here) but to say it was driving like the car was on a race track is a bit over the top to be honest.
- I know it's not a full or proper time lapse either as the video is only sped up x2 and not higher like you would normally see in a so called 'timelapse' video, but watch sure how to label it..

I'm sorry but my sole existence on this forum was not just to simply entertain you, and I'm sorry you didn't like it. :)

'Each to their own' and all that...

"Is it legal to drive like that over there" - yeah I think they're allowed to drive normally in Ireland

Thats is not a timelapse video... I expected something interesting like a timelapse of your DC2 from past to present.

Same. Could at least speed it up enough to warrant some Benny Hill music. :p

I do realise it not really timelapse, apart form knowing that it either involved slowing or speeding things up, so with that in mind I should prob just called the video 'random-kind-of-sped-up-car-footage' :p

maybe I'll do that later when I can be bothered too.

Post some picture of your car in the VTEC thread and the 'show us your motors' thread. People love a good old DC2 around here, including me.

1 thing you should not do though is post hooning videos done on public roads. We have all done 1 at one time or another, but they are not appropriate for forums like this. :)
