My company (of which I own 1/3 of) is at a level where we need time sheets. There is only 3 of us but its getting really difficult to keep track of job time and also things that are time charged.
Also when pricing for new jobs we often need to look at previous projects that are comparable in size / scope and see what time was spent on them to gauge an accurate costing.
I have been tasked with trying to organise a timesheet that we can all access. As a mock up it needs to looks similar to ;
We need one each but they are going to have to access some form of Database because we need to "look up" a job and have the hours displayed in each "job stage" as well as each director. Does this make sense ?
Ideally this would be web based but baring in mind I have no experience in databases or SQL what are my options ?
I have looked at google docs / apps but its far to complicated, has nothing there that looks like it would be useful and is not in any way shape or form user friendly.
If it helps we all have Office Pro 10 so we all have MS access, but again its something I have never used.
