Tips for a first time builder - Ryzen 3600 CPU, but which RAM?

I've been looking at 3600 CL 16 memory for my new build... Corsair Vengeance, for example... but honestly, I don't really know much about RAM and want to hit the sweet spot for performance vs. value.

I don't intend on overclocking the CPU and will mainly be using my build for games such as Overwatch, Battlefront II, Squadrons, maybe some CIV6 occasionally. Given the current GPU **** show, I'll be using my current 650ti BOOST until I can find a reasonably priced upgrade (hopefully soon!) such as a 2nd hand 1070/1080 or new 3060/3060ti.

Is 3600mhz necessary for a Ryzen 3600? Will 3200 be plenty?

TIA.

3200 is plenty but you will yield better performance results from 3600, like min FPS for example. I think it's marginal in any case.
Cheers!

I'm guessing 3600 would be better also for future proofing, should I decide in a couple years time to grab a 5600 or higher...
