Fair enough on the screens, I wouldn't either but talking about your headphones being more expensive than x amount of peoples GPUs seems like an up yourself kind of comment as the GPU's you mention are not that mediocre as you make out. Unless you've got two Titans, you're delusional.

It illustrates the ridiculousness of the comparison.

Titan is for people who have the money to blow on it as the premium product is is.

People who have this kind of money do not buy 7950s, they buy 7970s. The same people buy Hyperthreaded i7s instead of i5s. They buy higher end 120Hz monitors instead of a monitor that appears on the list of the 'Sort by Price, Ascending' filter.

That's true to a point. There are plenty of people with more financial freedom than either of us combined and do not like to waste money. They might buy according to their need rather than their want. You just choose a poor argument calling the 7950 a mid range card that performs in the same bracket as the GTX 680 and the whole "I spend loads on single components that are dearer than most people's whole rigs" makes for what seems to be an up yourself attitude IMO.

I agree with your point though, if people can afford them or just want them then it's not for anyone to say they are foolish or to question their intelligence or wealth. Nearly every single person here has bought something expensive that a friend, family member or work colleague have thought you were insane for doing so regardless of how great it performs or the size of the smile it brings to your face.
