A simple question from a simple person!

Just purchased the above set up pre-overclocked to 4 ghz with 4g RAM. I'm not sure which Windows 7 operating system to install, at least in the short term 32 or 64? I know that 4g RAM is not necessarily fully recognised in a 32bit system but I guess there could be compatibility probs in a 64bit system?
The bottom line is will I notice much difference in performance if I install the 32 bit?
Grateful for replies as I'm anxious to get up and running over the weekend.

unless you have a piece of software that outright doesnt work on 64 bit, go 64bit.
All the driver support is there, 32bit is old...very very old. You can still run 32bit apps on 64bit windows, so there really isnt an issue. In fact, I havent found anything that I cant run on vista 64 ultimate or win 7 64 pro.

The additional gb or so of ram will do wonders for the snappyness of your system as well. its like going 1gb to 2gb on xp
