it is the standerd version in the pic but for a lim time they are giving you the ltd edtion...
wish the online was better any one can just download a char and play him online so it wont take of online at all way to many cheats. no need to trade either shame.

im loving this game im currently lvl 15 and im nearly at athens so ive nearly completed the greece section so then ill be off to egypt.
I got some wicked equipment, ive maxed out my warrior skill so now i can have the strongest warrior power which lets me unleash 4 warrior spirits that seem very overpowered

I've been looking into that myself (demo crashes all the time). It doesn't like dual processors, so use runfirst to make the game run on only a single CPU. That should fix the problem (apparantly). A patch is also coming out in the next couple of days to fix some of the problems.
Great game, really captured the Diablo feel.
I'm running a dual core x2 4400 and I've been playing for hours without a single crash and without having to run of 1 core. The only thing I'd recommend is installing the latest display drivers if you've got an Nvidia card, I first tried it using some 81.xx drivers and got really bad graphical lag, once I updated to the 91.93 drivers it ran great.

Ive just got to egypt ive got some really powerful armour:
prometheus helmet and boots
Im lvl 19 now and he seems very strong and i managed to kill that boss you seen in the fmv at the start easy enough. Im now 1 point away from maxing my ancestral warriors which now i can summon 5 and they obliterate anything in seconds

Lvl8, just finished the spartan camp. Loving it so far I had a flickering mouse cursor, but I found a way to solve it 
Go into Display Properties.
Click on the Settings Tab.
Click on 'Advanced'
Click on the Troubleshoot Tab.
Uncheck the 'Enable Write Combining' option.
Reboot.
Very good game, I think Dungeon Siege is still better, but this is great nonetheless. No loading times is a great feature I'm glad they managed to implement. Haven't suffered a single crash in the retail version, demo is definitely buggier (although the cursor worked fine on it from the beginning).

I've only played the demo so far. Not all that impressed tbh. But maybe I'm jaded after years of D2 clones. Of all the rpgs released this year Spellforce 2 is the only decent one I've played so far....altho it's really a hybrid game (rpg/rts)

no warrior its a great class and i might not bother with a second class till im in epic mode.
Sadly the game crashes like hell - and I know there should be a patch released for it later today.
There are numerous posts on the official forums with people complaining about crashes and I must admit I'm having a few too (some say it's linked to having Alcohol installed though why protection has to circumvent a legal program I'll never know) and I don't actually have anything like Alcohol / DT installed so it seems to affect nigh on everyone at some stage.
For me it's gotten so bad I can't actually load my save and I'm only 15 minutes into it tried playing around with the settings and nothing - so guess it's wait for the patch... there must have been pretty bad testing though I'm sure they must test the 'master' copy on a few machines.

I had this problem. Make a new character, then once you enter the game go back to the main screen, and load your old one (the one that was crashing) and he should work fine (although the game still crashes now and again).
