** TITAN X NOW AVAILABLE TO PRE-ORDER!! **

surly some of the manufactures allow you to fit your own waterblock. i wouldnt want to be spending a £1000 for there then to be something wrong with the card and not getting a refund or replacement.

£1000 gamble is to much for me fingers crossed one for the manufactures allows us to fit a waterblocked without voiding the warranty

Does anybody know if the chips on these cards are cherry picked or not - particularly the egva sc version? Will the sc clock any better than the standard cards(if you can call any of these standard) Lol. Very tempted to order, but worried whether they will hold there value a bit better than other cards or not?

No , they are not cherry picked . I had a 780ti sc and it had a very poor asic and was a poor overclocker. its just a bios flash and not worth the extra Imho.

Was going to wait for the Evga SC, but have gone for the Gigabyte instead - should arrive tomorrow.

ORDER NOW

Oh crap.. i assume there isn't a rough ETA following myself preordering?

If you already ordered in last few days, then probably delivery around early May.

Whole of Europe and potentially rest of world in same issue, demand is far outweighing current supply.

If you look at OcUK competitors, they have pretty much never shown any Titan X ever in stock, OcUK is Europes number one for Titan X, now having shipped the most volume at nearly 500 cards.

I find it hard to believe that the low supply is intentional; NVidia must have really underestimated how well these would sell.

But I ordered mine 19 days ago so hopefully it’s not too long before my turn!

Also Titans don’t seem to be the only things in short supply, my Swift and SSD arrived today with no haribo! ;)

Bit of both, NVIDIA will never want the channel to be flooded with Titan X as they want it to keep some exclusivity to hold values. Just like Titan Black still holds great value.

However at the same time it has outperformed forecast for sure, they under-estimate how important to people high capacity VRAM cards are.

I already informed NVIDIA if 980Ti with 6GB or 8GB of VRAM comes I shall take 25,000 units for the quarter as that is how many I can sell easily in a quarter. :)

It does amaze me the expense that people will put up with if they are only using the card for gaming purposes but I guess its a case of if you have got the money why not its not as though you can take it with you. Still its not for me personally I like the more value [roducts and trying too chase down the EOL sales on cards still its got too be time for me too upgrade soon still using my 480GTX which I brought from here all these many years later and still quite happy with it apart from the noise and heat it puts out
