I don't mind which engine it's on as long as that screen tearing has been sorted. The single player mode looks good and is exactly what this game needed, looking forward to this one :)

Titanfall meets Just Cause with that grappling hook?

I'll definitely get this, enjoyed the first one. My only gripe was longevity.

Lets hope they add more players to the multiplayer it was a shame they had bots on the last game.

Wasn't much content in the game itself but had a ridiculous amount of fun playing it. Hopefully the same with more content.

Out of curiosity why did the original flop on the Xbox?

Those who did play it what changes would you like to see?

As a ps4 owner this looks like fun.

Loved the game but it was very small when it came out compared to other pvp multiplayer, I know it seems shallow but customisation adds a lot to longevity for players. As well is lots of different weapons, and this go for the titans themselves.

However, they have Optimus Prime as the voice of the AI, I'm not passing up the chance to have that voice responding to me as I walk about in a titan.

I loved the first one, the only downside was the "single" player - which wasn't. Just shouldn't have been there at all really.

Other than that, it was awesome. The maps were maybe a bit blocky, but it looks like that's been addressed in the new one.

I'm not entirely convinced though, it looks like they're going a bit CoDdy - adding too much to it. Titanfall was a really nice reset to a basic selection of weapons. Definitely a nice polish overhaul though - HUD elements look cleaner etc.

I also really enjoyed the 'bots' in the MP. I wasn't sure at first, but they really added something. They were just great extra cannon fodder and played an important part in some games between the winning team and the losing team (i.e the winning team killed more :) Made you feel bad-ass even if you were dying a lot.

I'm looking forward to this.

Very interested in this if it is coming to PS4. I really liked the first one but it seemed to die a death within a few weeks of release, but that was on PC. I never played it on XO.

I paid extra for the season passes but didn't play it for about a year as I was playing in Tribes leagues. Came back to a ton of new content that I couldn't play because nobody was online other than in the base game (which was free for a time in Origin I think).

To this day I have only played maybe 2 of the extra maps they released! lol. But my bad I guess for taking such a long break.

PS4 MP footage.
Looks awesome. Glad it's multi-platform this time. I think I'll try both PS4 and XB1 and see which version is the best.

Surely same on both systems maybe PS4 will be slightly higher res or have slightly improved visuals?

Probably, interesting that they were playing on PS4 at the Gamescon stream considering the last one was xbox only. Either way PS4 will be my choice.

Dont link to trash TF2 gameplay - actually it was pretty much all trash gameplay from Gamescom as every idiot there played it like it was COD

Well they are very similar, whether COD has recently gone TF or TF is going COD, TF even has kill streaks this time.

Either way this looks good, hopefully it will last a little longer than it did the last time.

Had a quick blast, gameplay is really nice, very slick. Really pixellated on PS4 though, definitely not even close to 1080p, but it is an alpha build so I expect it will improve.

Sorry I came off abrupt, Ive watched the EA Gamescom stream when TF2 was played live and it was horrible and not even close to the standard I saw when the TF1 alpha/beta was happening.

I dont think the grapple adds to the game and dont see the changes theyve made as positive ones for a game that was stripped down to its core mechanics as it was in TF1.

Least the tech test will give us an idea - grateful for that

Downloading the open multiplayer tech test on PS4 now.

It's also available on Xbox One:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/sto...973X799967X23e8769065f2d7a1064f4ac57ed63d0a)()

Xbox One version - 17.47GB
PS4 version - 12.57 GB

Should be able to play from 4 p.m. UK time.

I enjoyed the first one, though I only played it for a month or so before it lost my interest and I move on to other games.

Looks like they've increased the player limit from 12 to 16 on certain modes, which is slightly better.

Would like a 24-32 player mode on PC though without any grunts/bots.
