Titanfall 2 - have you seen its multiplatform?

I've got both and I enjoy this more than BF1. Plus the campaign in this is just excellent.

I tried both on PC and preferred Titanfall 2 but then I've never really been a huge battlefield fan. I like being able to run, wall jump, slide around at speed and hopping into your Titan aswell. Feels like a better multiplayer experience to me but I can see why some may prefer the more grounded team dynamics of Battlefield. The Titanfall 2 singleplayer also amazing fun though it is kind of short at around 4 hours. At least they included it this time though.

I think you can get battlefield 1 free for 10 hours if you sign up to EA Access for a single month (£4) so that might be a good way to try it out for next to nothing if you aren't sure. I don't think Titanfall has a demo though

I don't have BF1 but too play BF4 as well as TF2. I play BF4 when I want a slower experience. as a comparison BF4 is more of a "lots of time spent running around and THEN something happens" experience whereas TF2 is "Action happens 95% of the time".

it really depends on what you want from your game. Blazingly fast action .. TF2. Slower paced... BF1.

Cheers fellas, I am leaning more towards TF2 in all honesty which is why i posted here.
I think Im more into the faster pace of things really, plus the fact the playerbase wont be splintered by DLC's is great.
Speaking of playerbase, does it seem busy at most times of the day? Or are you waiting a little while for games to populate?

Never had issues finding a game. Last time I was on it said 40k players online.

Yea, actually numbers have gone up recently, I think this game will last as word of mouth carries it a bit longer and price drops.

Never have issues finding games. Population isn't brilliant but there's usually 30k+ at peak times.

Thanks for the info above, I stumped up for the game in the end. I may get BF1 eventually but going to focus on this game first. 35GB cant download fast enough

Just bought this yesterday and the single player is fantastic so far. No idea how far through it I am but I love the running, jumping and shooting and the feel of some of the guns is brilliant.

Once I have finished the single player I will get going on the multiplayer. I was deciding between this and BF1 and I am happy that I chose this. No idea if BF1 would be better but ultimately this is a fantastic game and for the £26 I paid for the digital download its a bargain.

Finished the single player yesterday. What a game!

Best FPS single player in years, not had that much fun since F.E.A.R or Half Life 2.

Playing multi player today, very tight and responsive.

This is the best all round FPS of last year. Hope they continue and EA doesn't dump it.

the key is getting used to the three shot rounds. there have been times when I've been killed as my third round didn't delivery a kill shot and the other guy just kept on shooting!

incidentally.. i've seen no one from the overclockers network at all whilst playing, is it dead or am i just joining at the wrong time of day?

Completed the single player last night although it was short I really enjoyed it, brilliant first effort from Respawn. I am looking forward to see what they have in stock for us on the new star wars game.
