Ok, before we can continue, I WILL NOT BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR HARDWARE.
First of all you need to find your max overclock, i did this buy using rthdribl, this prog heats up the gfx card nice, found here http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/rthdribl/
Run in full window mode for about half hour, dont worry about your gfx temps reaching 70+
I use rivatuner for overclocking, monitoring temps, and setting fan speeds,
I advise you run your fan speed at 80% using rivatuner, i cant hear any more fan noise at this speed but it cools better. unless you have your own cooling.
For info on core clocks, shader clocks, mem clocks see here
Now Create a bootable floppy, and install nvflash nvflash 5.50 onto the floppy.
Reboot your computer, enter the bios to make sure you set floppy to boot first.
After the floppy has loaded, you will see A:> type nvflash -b 8800BACKUP.rom make sure you add .rom or it wont work.
Few lines of text will apear, and saving bios successful.
Enter windows and download this.. NiBiTor v3.5.
Open this then load the bios from the floppy, then you can set your max overclocks in within this prog, save the bios as 8800OC.rom, agian make sure you type .rom, and make sure you have a green light for integrity.
Restart your computer and load up floppy agian, at the A:> screen type nvflash -5 -6 8800OC.rom, this will reflash the bios with the overclocked settings, reboot the computer.
If all is well you will have a hardware overclocked 8800.
