Hi there, I ran Core Temp 0.95 and my Tjunction is sitting at 85c with each core sitting at roughly 37c idle, 58c load. Are these temperatures too hot? Sorry, never done this before.

Thanks.

Don't worry about it, the tjunction is a set value from which the CPU temperatures are calculated (mines 85 too). Its perfectly normal.

To answer if its too hot wed have to know what processor you are using , what clock speed, and what cooler/HSF your using.

Thanks, I'm using an Intel Core 2 duo E6700 stock, with stock HSF. What you think? Is it worth upgrading my CPU cooler?

Temps are fine :)

Tjunction in CoreTemp should really be labelled Tjunctionmax - ie, the hottest "Tjunction" should be allowed to get. This is the junction between the core and die it sits on.

For older Conroes and Allendales this is 85C, for Kentsfield and newer C2Ds it's 100C.
