So.. are you coming around to the story yet ? Or is it still meh ?
Its meh. Characters are so unlikeable. Just found gi Jane's boyfriend on the boat at the aquarium.
The whole game is emotional. I don’t know how you missed it.
I haven't finished it yet so am sure it's coming soon. All that's happened so far was some lgbt tlou fanfiction.
If you haven’t experienced an ounce of emotion by now… I doubt the rest of the game will spark a reaction. Shame, as it is a rollercoaster.
The only other game to get an emotional reaction out of me, is the last ride, red dead redemption 2. Arthur was such a great char.
Completed it. What a shame. Dont know how you can feel emotion for the characters when your not given any time to get attached to them.
Dont think the writers even played the first game as they act nothing like they did in that.
I didn't like rdr2s story either. Apart from when Morgan got aids and died.

Great game, it's not as good as the first, but still amazing.
I hated what they did to Joel, i hated that they turned Ellie into revenge driven - Joel wouldn't have wanted that! I hated when i started playing as Abby - i used to deliberately get her killed in the most gruesome ways!
But then i actually came around to understanding her motivation and started to like the character! So to me, that is excellent writing.
Locations were stunning, characters were solid and game play was intense - each to their own, this obviously wasn't for you.

I played the game almost two years ago and I still remember the names of characters and what they look like.
At this stage I think you're either someone who just forces yourself to cool and different to the majority or you have some kind of autistic trait that leaves you without a capability to process emotion.
Never been tested for autism. I got called an artistic **** once. Looking back it probably was autistic he was shouting. Do you think I caught it listening to Ian dury?

Can we close this ridiculous thread now that he's finished the game and got the attention he was clearly craving ?
I wanted to hate this game after all the build up and slagging off it got I even put off playing it for a while. But when I played it and actually formed my own opinion it was one of the greatest gaming experiences I have had and one of my all time favourite games. The attention to detail is way beyond anything else. The small bits like the guitar songs and exploring the space museum were just superb. I have played through it three times now and will likely do it again at some point soon.
