Hey guys,
I just pre-ordered the new asus rampage IV black x79 mb and a 4930k to go with it. I'm planning an entirely new build and need some advice.
I currently run an ssd cached to my 2TB hdd in my current rig.
So my question is, do I make my new build a cached system or just go ssd only and add more ssd's as and when I need more storage?
Is the speed difference noticeable? I find my current cached system acceptable but I'm trying to get an idea of whether caching is just not worth doing for a new system. I was thinking to start with 256GB Samsung Pro or maybe even the 512GB version.
Thanks
