Anyone know how the **** I get rid of this message as its stopping me from opening or saving an attachment from outlook express.

I am using XP Service Pack 2 and have always used it and I have never heard of this before ???

In OE go to tools > options > security tab & untick "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus"

That should do the trick

If it has already blocked the attachment it will be too late, you may need to get the sender to send it again while you have the protection turned off.

as above

i believe outlook actually strips the attachment out before its put in your inbox

once you remove the protection you will need to re-send it.
