To 'Install INF Update Utility' & 'Intel Management Engine Software' Or Not!?

Looking at the Driver CD thats come with my Gigabyte Z87X mobo, should i/do i need to install INF Update Utility & Intel(R) Management Engine Software from the disc or should i just let Windows 7 deal with this and updating etc??

Ive usually only ever installed Network drivers and USB3 drivers from the mobo disc in the past?

I think you should update the chipset drivers for sure.

As for ME, I think its a requirement for other motherboard software like OC'ing software. But if you don't intend to use them then you could pass it up at a guess.

i install the IME thingy because without it, i'd have an unrecognised item in device manager. i doubt it makes any real world difference though.
