Hey,

My rig absolutely fails. 6 times down over a space of 3 months isn't exactly very great, and the third motherboard going up smoke isn't helping its case.

Skipping all the comments about "lol something else wrong with your rig" which there isn't, it's just unfortunately running into the same poor design flaws (4 phase for example), is it worth just selling up for a netbook? I don't use the comp for anything other than browsing and listening to music anymore.

See the specs in my sig, could I get a decent netbook if I sold that (minus the board, speakers, monitor etc of course)?

Cheers

Maybe a notebook, as it might be hard to find a netbook with a 3.4hz cpu and 4gb ram :D, however if its for browsing and music, a decent dual core netbook would be more than ample, as i have music on mine all the time, and browse the web at college and home with no faults. However the graphics arent up to scratch but i never expected them to be. look around at your choices, for your price range, post in laptops section identifying your budget, requirements and battery life etc and then look at reviews across the web :)

Also look at smal 13.3" laptops like the Acer Travelmate 8371, which is really good for its price, along with 4gb ram, 2.2ghz dual core, and a hd 4330 gpu :) so all is well. But i think for really good advice try and talk with Olivier Renault, i think thats the name, as she knows much more than me about this sort of stuff! :D
