I'm running RAID0 x25-m's.
It's great to be able to consolidate the space into one volume, and the boost to writes is useful.
Apart from that It doesn't feel a great deal faster than a single drive (I tend to be CPU bottlenecked on loads now, so you may fare better with your 4Ghz i7) and because there's no TRIM in raid you should Secure erase the drives every 3-6 months to keep them in best condition.
