To SIL or not to SLI...?

Hi all I was thinking of sli-ing my pc here the spec

Intel core 2 quad Q6600 2.4ghz

Asus striker extreme sli mother board

2gb memory xms

2x 250gb Seagate hard drives in raid

cooler freezer pro cpu fan

antec 1000watt power supply

xfx 8800 gtx

Now the pc plays games very well including crysis at ultra high settings but was just wondering is there a point of getting another 8800 gtx?

If the PC plays games fine then no, no point. If you want to upgrade because you like shiny stuff (this is usually my justification) then yeah - two 8800GTXs will give you some pretty decent performance. You'll need to be running 1680x1050 or above though or it won't be worth it.

8800GTX SLI is good, faster in most cases than a GTX280.

You need to try playing crysis at a higher res then 640x480
