Hey fellas, i recently did a new shell for my 1/10 tourer, but i made a mistake, forgot to put window masks on the windows, so now i have white windows lol,

question is, is there some sort of liquid or something that will take the paint off, without damaging the quality of the poly carb plastic?

I used Tamiya poly carb paint, if that helps.

You will be ok using thinners that Halfrauds sell. In their car paint secition in a little Dark Grey metal rectangular bottle.

Cellulose thinners ought to strip it off without attacking the polycarb shell. Best to try a bit on a small section of scrap shell first though.

Depends on what paint you have used. Enamel thinners will not do a good job of removing polycarb spray paint.

Don't think it'll work, poly spray is pretty resistant (whole point nitro/petrol uses) I would just leave it, make a bodge job of it. checkout rc universe

well ive already started the bodge job on the other windows, like sides, quarters, and rear, i wanted the front clear, but looks like im going to have think some more.

I did something like this once, and tried to remove it with some pain remover or something (can't remember exactly what it was), and it rotted the plastic and caused the pain to go molten and then re stick to the plastic. Bit of a disaster.

I suggest you try it out on a small bit of spare plastic first, spray it, leave it to dry then use whatever you decide to use to remove the paint, then leave it for a while to check it doesn't rot the plastic.
