What boots do you use/prefer?

Studs or Blades/Moulds?

Staight Laced, Laces to Side or Laces covered?

I'm rather fussy about by boots as I play R Wing/CM. Right now I'm using an old pair of the Blue Nike Total 90 Studded boots but I'm looking for a new decent pair of boots.

Personally I'm looking at the new Nike Mercurial Vapors or the Mercurial Miracle or the new Adidas F50 Tunit. I only like studded boots.

Could anyone reccomend any of the above?

I'm also unsure really the difference of having open laced and covered. Don't like the laces to the side!

I wear whats comfortable, normally Adidas World Cup and Puma Kings

I prefer studs over blades but that's just personal preference, whether they are studded or moulded depends on the ground you're playing on, if it's hot the grounds harder so moulded's are better, wet, studs are better for grip.

You need to try a few pairs on and go for what's comfortable.

The new Adidas Adi Pur which was what a lot of players were wearing in the WC are nice but pricey.

Always have 3 pairs, studded, blades (hard ground) and molded.

At present some form of Adidas Predator, but I used to wear Copa Mundials and World Cups. I find them a bit too narrow nowadays though

Although new season and I need new boots so may go Adi Pur, or some other..

I also have a pair of Umbro Speciali that I keep buffed up as they are so comfy and i wear them if my feet are hurting or coming back from injury.

Just been looking at the adidas adiPURE III XTRX SG. Got a few ideas on what boots I'd like, will have to go shopping tomorrow and try them on.

Also have a pair in red with blades which I sometimes where at Goals but i've knackered my ankle wearing them as my foot got caught in the ground when I tried to turn.

Not a good idea to wear blades at Goals to be honest!

Copa Mundials for when the ground is hard, World Cups for when the ground is soft, Puma V1 08 FG's for very sloppy pitches (the studs are massive). I play CM, and CF.

Im not a fast player and either play CM or FW. These allow me to put in the hard tackles, and allows me to have powerful or placement shots whenever i need them

Anyone know anything about K-Leather?

The AdiPure uppers are K-leathers... Does this mean I should get a half size smaller because the leather will stretch out or stick to my normal size?

Copa Mundials and World Cups for 5a side and 7a side and 11a side for last 3-4 years wouldn't wear anything else!

I have always liked the Adidas F.50 range, light and sturdy.
Although I'm going to be trying a pair of those super lite Nike Vapors this evening (not sure which model? the $400 ones

)

i always liked diadora boots, most comfy for me. Always went for studs not sure why.

Will those boots improve my finishing in front of goal? :eek:

I have some cheap Nike Tiempo Natural's, about £25 lol.

If you wore other boots then you wouldn't be able to tackle hard or shoot as well? :confused:

Blades and straight laced. Don't like any other type.

Just bought a pair of the new Adidas Adipure III as I fancied a change from my usual Nike Mercurial Vapours. Was quite refreshing to be back in real leather non-plastic boots. Then at the end of the sessionn they'd already started to come away from the sole :mad:

Called subside up where I bought them from and they will refund once they have inspected them.

Not sure what to go for now, I had my eyes on the Nike CTR360 Maestri in black and red but they are just impossible to get hold of in a size 10.

Think Im going to go for a pair of last years Predator powerswerve, really dislike the look of the lastest predator.

I bought the Nike Mercurial Talaria V for £40. Played 2 games in them and they've ripped. God knows how... Returned them and got a refund. Think I'll just stick to my old Nike Total 90's.
