If a PSU is cybernetics rated you can often see an efficiency graph on their site from 0w to load, with a separate section showing 20, 40, 60 and 80w loads
There will definately be adapter cables for new gpu's just take a look at Nvidia fe, that came with 12 pin to 2x 8 pin adapter.As I have 3 months ish or more to build, am I better off waiting for the ATX 3.0, I got the gist that if you buy a decent PSU to start there will be likely be cables you can get after for the new pin layout? So not necessarily any point paying more for one. For context, was going to get a 1k Plat for a watercooled AM4 setup with a 4080/90.
