If we all went onto goole and search for menial things such as "does a game have a green cover" there would be less threads like this and more about healping people with hardware problems or problems with games or actual disscussions, not this nonsense.

So you are advocating google, lets close all forums, outstanding. How ironic you have linked to 3 forums, 2 of which deal with the demo. I was actually hoping you took more time and linked to the developers site, or maybe you have already been.

This is far from nonsense, it is about what protection is being used on an unreleased game, to which I and if you read, rather a few ppl have an aversion too. Your petty rantings only clutter up a thread which would can be used as a resource.

Ive had no problem with starforce. At the moment ive got the two thrones and while its mildly annoying to have to put the disk in every time, and have a little loading screen, its not exactly annoying.

I'm afraid it is. We don't have any 'fair use' laws in this country that relate to individuals.

So unless the publisher has specifically granted you permission to make a copy, you are technically breaking the law.

i spoke too soon, ive just installed the suffering 2, and its starforce 2, at least you only have to reboot when starforce is initially installed, didnt ask for a reboot with my 2nd starforce game.

Hi there fellow posting dude. It seems that Yes is the Answer to your question and God knows where all that above come from. Perhaps there on the Rag.

Anyways here are my reasons for posting.
Starforce omg is it really eeeekkkkkkk.

I have owned GTR + Starforce and am currently running GTL with Starforce.. I Carped myself like most when i read the sites about starforce and its woes but then i noticed the dates on most of them. Old is a word that springs to mind.
I have Not had a single problem concerning starforce the games or my system relating in any way to starforce.
Is this luck or are people still harping on about problems that have passed.
My system and games run excellently and i get an amazing score for my system on 3D Mark 05. If starforce is combating piracy and my system continues to run as it does i have no problems at all saying Dont worry about starforce use it.
I know this post will be followed by a post Blatantly pointing out issues but still my system and games run fine and have done for Ages.
I am not going to stop playing GTL no matter what is posted and when GTR2 comes out i will be buying it on day of release.
I have to say though i thought the demo of TOCA3 was total garbage. Was well dissapointing to me and my race team as my race team retired Number one in the world on Toca2.
I really hope it improves about 500 times before they release it.

Why dont you wait for the game to be released to find out about the protection? Or even better take off your "thing" that mess with starforce

If it worked ok for toca 2 why such a beef with starforce?
