.... Fired down the deposit for my first flat!

No real point in this thread, but I'm pretty excited at the moment! :D

It's a 2 bedroom, new build "executive" shore-side property with a balcony.
I'm flat sharing with my best mate from high school.

Should be moving in on the 27th if everything goes to plan!

Will update this thread with pics when we do :)

As requested - Flat is unfurnished so horrible couch is going. Not got any pics of the bedrooms worth showing, but they're pretty substantial.

Carpet will be coming up as it's horrendous, but all in all it's really nice and we're both very happy! :)

Congrats, I also bought my first place about 2 months ago (is also the first time I've left home.) It's awesome, so much freedom and a great feeling having your own place and responsibilities.

Sorry guys, forgot to say not buying for the time being, figured we would take the 6 months to see if we quite happily get along.
Been on holiday quite a few times before but obviously very different! I'll upload some pictures I've got from the letting agency just now.

It looks out onto the River Forth. Keeping it local ;)

Going to update though not as good as the story of the OP -

paid my mothers £500 MOT/Service as she is tight for cash

It's under a year old so, yeah it's pretty good nick! Could do with a touch of paint here and there (think there was a young girl there before as fake tan on the walls etc :( )

As for the thin walls, can't see it being too much of a problem as living room - where most of the noise will come from isn't a third party wall. That's the bedroom.. But we will see, neighbours seem not too bad either!

are you Edinburgh side of forth or Fife side?

Im just trying to work out where it could be lol

Looks good.
