Today I Have Mainly Been Driving....

looks very very nice, how refined are they to drive? always loved the way they can still make these as a modern car while still keeping that classic style and grace so many tin boxes lose these days

but having said that i'm pretty sure i'm getting a name around here for liking weird things...

edit: oh and saw an aero round here the other day, nearly ran myself off the road stareing at it :D

Very simple to drive. the only thing is the steering is VERY heavy at slow speeds, but at normal driving speeds, its fine, and something id more or less got used too by the end of the day.

Very cool car. For me, it's the kind of car I'd happily borrow for a month but couldn't spend my own money on - I'd buy something boring like a used M3 :(.

whats the depreciation like on them? i can imagine they aren't a bad investment over most new cars!

You dont lose much at all on them. If you buy new and spec most the options i want, it will hit over £30k, so im looking to buy anything over an 03 plate. you will need well over £20k for this.

It depends massivly though, you can buy a 54 plate with a fair few options like This one (i had my eye on that one for ages but it was sold the other day)
or an old one thats about 9 years old, for only 3 or 4k less. so it does vary a lot. A lot of the time, it depends how many extras are on it. atm theres a silver one up for sale (05 reg) for £20,995 but theres no extra's on it what so ever, it looks carp :(

But they are probably the one car that you can buy now, and sell it in 3 years for less than £1k loss (depending on mileage / condition).

With regards to the M3 - i dont blame you, but ive had the speed (CTR) factor, and found you just cant use it on the roads, and the way the CTR drinks fuel is insane. I did 160 miles in that morgan yesterday and used quarter of a tank of fuel, so thats not bad at all.

And like i say, i have my volvo to get me to work now so i can afford something more exclusive for the weekends.

I heard that IF they go into production, they will be north of 70k

LOVE the Aeromax. Saw it at Lemans and it looks awesome and sounds awesome when racing. Didn't win anything, in fact it came last but it still looked great.
