Went to Harrison's Cameras in Sheffield and had a play with the new Sony A99.
Tested a used Sigma 50-500mm on my A77 and somehow managed to not buy it.
Bought a new strap for the A77.
Froze my spuds of taking some landscape shots while stood in a quagmire.
Done nothing. Camera has gone, waiting on a D300 to arrive. The S5 was great for people or scenes but next to useless for anything at move. Still it was fun. Love the D200 sized Nikon bodies. Just right for my hands.
calibrating your monitor is easy and can make a world of difference, the last couple of monitors I've had were pretty optimal as soon as I plugged them in though.
