with software, if you have windows 7 its got a inbuilt tool.

right click desktop > personalize > display > calibrate colour.

I'd imagine the op meant with a proper calibration device, there used to be a thread someone started on here where you could borrow one from a forum member and sent it on to the next in line

Installed Windows 8
got to surf on my new 30mb connection
started a week long cut on 1300 cals
and now rebuilding my NAS.
