I've got an Asus P9X79-E WS mobo and was going to use a AX1200i PSU...
I should be ok with those for a SLI setup of these GPU's yeah?
CPU, yes. PSU yes.
Motherboard depends...
The GFX card takes up 3 slots, and is a blower, not an exhaust fan (doesn't suck air through the card and expel through rear faceplate). It simply blows air through the heatsink directly at the card I believe.
I've just received my card now (but at work!) so cannot see how many slots distance it is, but the SLI connector might not be long enough, or if it is correct size, will it allow enough space for air without heatsoak occurring?
