***OVERCLOCKING GUIDELINES***

- Do not exceed 1.425v core voltage, doing so could limit lifespan of the CPU
- Aim to keep temperatures below 70c underload if at all possible
- Do not overclock with BCLK, again doing so could limit lifespan of the CPU
- Recommended memory voltage is 1.50v, so make sure to run your memory at 1.50v, higher than 1.60v could limit lifespan of the CPU
- These recommendations come from OcUK and Intel, your warranty is un-affected but we highly recommend you adhere to the above to make sure your CPU lifespan is un-affected
- All Sandybridge CPU's worldwide should be run at the above or lower voltages, no higher!

But but but, I could upgrade to a 2500k, motherboard AND RAM for that price (+£20) :(

Curse my Q6600 for being viable for so long.

I picked my one up on a daily deal on 18th November and it was £5.00 less than this. I wondered back then if I was purchasing too soon and should I wait as I bet prices fall in a month, glad I was wrong and glad I never waited ;)

Not sure 9-10-9-27 latency can really be described as Ultra-low latency settings! Not bad for the frequency but hardly ultra low think you would have to be going more down the Dominator route for 'ultra low'- latencies at this speed and capacity

Looking back at i5 prices, I think your celebrations are rather misinformed, unless you spent the £5 you saved on a winning Lotto ticket.
