**TODAY ONLY! 10/04/2014** MSI Radeon 290X & AOC 27" Widescreen monitor - yes, I got it right today

Does the AOC screen have a matte or glossy finish. I've used the DGM one which was glossy but prefer my Hazro 27-bit version as its matte but the build quality and stand is a bit poor (although still going strong after 18 months or so).
 
Just received my monitor and it's stunning. The Picture is every bit as good as my Dell 2713HM but this has a far less aggressive AG coating so still has the pop I found lacking in the Dell.

Stunning screen for the money. Great service as always by OCUK...

Congrats Moogley, glad your happy I know you were concerned about the backlight.

Even at full price the AOC Q2770PQU is good value, let alone the awesome price you paid.

I think in general AOC do some great value monitors. I think their 4K option is easily the best value out of the upcoming ones from aoc, asus, Samsung. It looks like they used the same stand and design used in the AOC Q2770PQU. So cheaper than the asus, and better stand and warranty than the Samsung. Win win.

Have you tried any games on it? Would be very interested to know which is the better option out of the AOC and the Dell. Hopefully the AOC is at least as good - especially if they do any more at that price ;)

I have had a quick game of battelfield and it looks stunning. To me this screen looks better than the Dell. Colours seem better and less motion blur although you still get some.

With the connection options and stand it is pretty much the same as the Dell for quite a bit less.

I'm very happy.... :)
