Longshot, but anyone have any idea whether one of these 6850s will fit alongside my existing Sapphire 6870 AND Xonar DG PCI card, on a Gigabyte MA790XT (AM2+)? Searching for photos of the motherboard and crossfire'd cards to check clearance... and failing.

Cheers chaps. Think I'll hold off and have a quick measure when I get home from work, just incase. The Xonar is only a cut-away/half-height card so I don't imagine it will impact on airflow too much.

They'll fit fine, I have 2 on this board:

They are certainly only 2 slot cards, so you'd have no problem fitting them in next to the soundcard in the lower PCI slot. :)

Thanks mate, I had download the latest driver 12.2 dated: 3/7/2012

So, do I need to uninstalled my GTX 260 driver from control panel then shutdown pc, take off the card and put the new HD 6850 card in, then start up pc and installing the driver and that it ?

My brand new 6850 had arrive but now got a problem of dual monitors set up - As you can guess by the title I just bought a Asus ATi Radeon 6850. It has 4 ports on the back. 2 x DVI, 1 x HDMI and 1 x Display Port. I had an Asus nVidia GTX 260 running dual DVI however dual DVI will not work on the 6850. I've gone through all the settings and removed/re-installed the display drivers. The second monitor is not present in Device Manager. Any thoughts? Please help! As I need dual monitors as I had 2 x same make and model of 21.5" AOC monitors come with 2 x VGA cables.
