I used one before the new drivers and I did not witness it, but some say it still did it, but since then AMD have released frame pacing drivers, but not sure.

i did suffer it when i first got the card (two driver versions ago) when i played very very old games, namely Counter Strike Source. i was playing at 299fps

, im sure if i limit it, i would be ok. but for modern games, not once i detected any (endless space, BF4 demo, boarderland 2)

I have a EVGA 770 GTX Superclocked... but I could easily sell that and buy this card and sell the games has I own most of them. Grrrrr.... what do... :confused:

But how much could you get out of a 770 though now that it's terrible value. You'd lose out on quite a lot.

Seriously tho, what a cracking price on the 7990. Definitely has to be the cheapest I have seen it. Tho I have no need for one (I would just buy it for the usual bragging rights

). My Gigabyte 7970 3x Windforce is doing me just fine. And no. I have no desire to crossfire

That's a stonking deal on the 7990.

Trouble is if I was to buy one I would probably have to build a new more powerful setup to get the most out of it.

Benching would be fun though
