Hi I brought a MSI 680 PE when they first appeared at OCUK 6 or 7 weeks ago and its a great card with LN2 bios flashed to my card it does 1280 core 7800 mem for benching sure if it was on water it would do more, 24/7 1202 core 7000 mem just wish I had the money for another atm hope there will be some left next month :D

I only recently bought a 670 DCU2 for similar money, and I much prefer the TwinFrozr's :(

But on This Week Only, there are 2 Asus 670 DCuII's (2gb OC & 4gb non-OC) sub £200 ?!

At ~£190, both the MSI and Asus 2gb OC'ed cards look like awesome power/£££, but £10 more for the 4gb version has to be more future-proof. (Doesn't it? Would it make a big difference with a single screen 1920x1200 setup??)

Personally I prefer MSI GPUs, but that 4gb Asus is very tempting.
But my beloved 6870 Hawk is still going strong (and fast and cool and quiet), so maybe I should resist temptation and wait 9-12 months, when 770/780s reach a similar pricepoint? Any advice??
 
670/680 should be more then twice as fast as your 6870, the perf difference between the 770 & 670/80 is minimal. In 9-12 months both teams midrange cards will be around 780 perf with lower power/heat/price.

Also don't forget to take a look at the cheap 7950/70's on offer too, all still very fast cards for the price.
 
Card arrived today, very happy, the isn't even a sticker over the lightning logo on the backplate so nobody will know I have a PE lol :)

Sadly though neither this or the 7850+24" screen I received yesterday had any Haribo, hope this isn't starting a trend as its <2 months to Halloween and I can't fend off hoards of sugar obsessed mini ghouls with airbags :P
