I managed to take advantage of the Z68 mobo offer last week and yesterday saw me exceed my 3 month membership to the forums so free postage means I can get the i5-2500k at the offer price indeed making it the cheapest I have seen.

Order placed thanks :D

excellent deal on the i5-2500k!
very tempting! shame I don't have free delivery.
My problem was that although I had ordered and used OC way back I had not bothered with the forums. Forum rules are 250 posts and member for 3 months, my 3 months passed yesterday. I guess for you 219 posts before the end of today might be classed as spam ;)

Think you'll find it's 100 posts for free delivery, I have it.

250 posts are for members market access, which maybe one day I'll get :)

Oh tempting offers, if my fleabay buyers get their acts together, might treat myself.

Btw its 100 posts over a year, I dont get free delivery

Ok I caved. I took an I5 2500k and MSI GD65 with its 20% cashback offer.

I should make more than how much that cost me back for my I7 920 + Asus triton 88 cooler, Rampage III Extreme, Gigabyte UD5, and two lots of Corsair Vengeance 12 Gb kits.

I'll simply use 4 of my superfast 2 Gb ram sticks in the meanwhile.

Is there any reason not to get an OEM CPU now?
I know there's the warranty issue, but other than that?
I remember when OcUK were offering chips with guaranteed overclocks that people said the OEM ones could well be the ones rejected for the high overclock guarantee. Since OcUK no longer do this is it still a possible issue? What about OcUKs pre-built systems and bundles, may they get the decent OEM chips? (I know I went down this line before in the i7 2700K thread too, sorry)

Are Deus Ex and Dirt 3 steam redeemable?

all deus ex:hr be it retail or digital require steam activation, however the code you receive for buying the graphics card can't be used directly on stream. You need to first redeem it on amd.com/deusexpromo, they will then email you the steam key that you activate on steam.

....

Ok, I am keeping mine now, since it dispatched and is too loverly to resist keeping it!

Redeeming free games

Hi- just had this card delivered with my system.

Would anyone be able to help me out with getting the games?

There was a promo code for Dirt3 in the box that I have emailed off for.

No sign of anything for Battlefield 3 or deus ex.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
