**Today Only 20/12/2011** Corsair Force Series 3 120GB SSD & OCZ Platinum 4GB 1333MHz Memory

Indeed, does that mean that the one I bought a few months back has firmware issues?

Possibly just check your firmware and if so update.

Anyway with this one it looks like they are chucking the Firmware Issue in for free ie you don't have to pay for it.

Would prefer a free game though.

What do you mean 'pay for it'? Are you suggesting that if we bought the product earlier, and there is a firmware issue, we'd have to pay for an update? I assume that's not what you mean, although that's how it reads.

Few problem here with corsair SSD, write speed is pretty slow at 337 MB/s but read speed was fine at 542 MB/s. I use Intel Rapid Storage latest version: 10.8.0.1003 and using Sata 0 on the SATA 3 port. Select AHCI at the bios. What have I done wrong ?

Are my setting correct (?) here:

I have now sorted out my Corsair Force 3 SSD to get both maximum speed on write & read around 500Mb/s after finally get my head round it for almost 7 hours yesterday. I had informed Gigabyte and they had asked me to disabled c3/c6 in the bios. To make sure of this, is go to your bios setting and disabled c3/c6 on your gigabyte z68 board because it will limit your write speed to almost 250Mb/s to 300Mb/s if you leave it auto or enabled. Here is my copy of printout:

Quite happy with it. Very pleased.
