Prices are starting to get really cheap on the nvidia cards now, glad I decided to wait for the dualies. Might just get a cheaper (cheaper than a few months ago when I was gonna buy) 580 sli if the dual cards aren't upto it.

This card has one graphics processing chip on it. I think the others are referring to buying two cards. As for is it a good card, I suppose that depends on what you have now. For me I've went from an ATI 4870 so this card appears to give me a lovely performance boost regardless of whether it flashes to a 6970 or not. It also appears to be faster than the NVidia 560 and doesn't draw the same power or generate the same heat as the NVidia 480.
