are those cm headsets any good? can they be used on a PS4 as well as a PC?

what are they like with music - i guess not as good as proper audiophile headsets.
 
Needed a new pair after I walked over my Corsair set :( See how well these do at that price ;)

You guys couldnt do an awesome deal on the 280X's now could you :p

Says nothing other than the fact that they offer 5.1 surround sound.

Having used more expensive surround headsets before, I would imagine that these would be categorically terrible for music, and quite decent for gaming.

I certainly wouldn't even entertain the idea of listening to music through them. And they will absolutely not be comparable to a good quality stereo music headphone.
 
i thought so but you never know. i might get some for gaming though and skyping. never owned gaming headsets before.

For this they will be fine, and the positional/surround audio is fantastic for gaming. :)
 
At that price, the headphones are be a good buy. They'll be good for gaming use - as intended :p - but may not be so great for music.
 
Headset deal came at a good time as I just ran my chair wheel over my last set. I'm sure 5.1 in a pair of headphones will blow my mind but worth a go for £35.
 
Mine just arrived and while its a lovely headset, I'm getting what I'm guessing is a fair bit of background noise which sounds like humming, its quite loud and annoying :/ If any of you have seen Airplane, its the noise that the plane sounds like during flight (WW2 bomber)

Edit: Its actually feedback from the graphics card (very confused now)
