**TODAY ONLY! 25/06/2014** Do you want sound?

The headphone comes with a USB and 3.5mm jack ability. I used the USB so I could use the cool controller thing, the USB end comes with an inbuilt USB audio card apparently. I ended up re-wiring my I/O panel and motherboard connections. Works like a charm now. Tbh it did it with my previous headset as well just not as noticable.

The sound clarity is excellent I have to say, and it does music & films surprisingly well.

Just received mine and I'm getting really bad background noise using the USB connection. Just moving the mouse makes the headset Buzz.

I have tried connecting directly to the board and still the same ???

It's a shame as it sounds great when playing audio.

Fixed the distortion by plugging the headset into my monitor ??

All working ok now and sounds surprisingly good for a £35 headset. The surround does little for me but I don't have the greatest hearing.

Grid sounds great through it.

How did you manage to plug it into the monitor? My background noise is back again and its a real nuisance :(

Edit: Did a direct connection using the adapter to plug it into the sound card but I only get distortion without plugging in the USB for the microphone, quite disappointed really. May send Cooler Master a support message.
