Those Corsair Survivors look pretty sweet. Shame I'm investing in an SSD and new PSU first. Will have to look at these another time

I'm tempted top buy the Corsair Flash Voyager 32GB USB3.0, but according to the user reviews on the rainforest site, there seem to have quite a bit of problems, mainly "loses the data, comes up as unreadable and pc saying it needs to be formatted", "works fine in the beginning, but start to have issues after a while of using it".

Can people at OcUK comment if they got any first hand experience for using this flash drive?

A few people around the office have used some without any issues. I have also used the survivor which I've had no issue's with either.

However people can have different experiences but overall flash pens are pretty stable.

I had the same issue with my 16GB USB 3.0 Flash Voyager I bought from here months ago, lost quite a bit of data. (I had this happen when I left it plugged in the USB 3 port for days.)

I believe there's a firmware update somewhere on Corsair's forums for this USB stick which fixes the issue.

The read & write speeds are nice, but when I'm browsing the files on it with Windows Explorer, there's a half second freeze every time I open a file/go back, annoying and very noticeable if you have a lot of files on it.

How's the Survivor? I need a reliable and big USB stick to store some stuff on, but I'll definitely order it today if someone can tell me there are no issues with it like there are issues with Flash Voyager.

As far as I've had this Voyager I've had no issue's with hardware. If you're talking reliable in terms of will it break, the bad boy is encased in some really hard stuff. You can throw it at wall, drive over it and other means of trying to kill it and it will be just fine.

Can we have video proof please? I dont want to buy it and drive over it and it breaks.

Were selling the newer updated versions, you can tell the newer versions as they have an S in the part number and are also slightly shorter in physical size. :)
