The persistent commitment of the ASUS ROG team promises to provide the leading performance gaming products merged with the excitement of gaming with a unique, stylish and gamer-focused design. Join the Republic of Gamers and stand out from the crowd.

ASUS has released the ROG Vulcan ANC, the world's first active-noise-cancelling pro gaming headset designed to immerse users into games and keep them free of distractions like never before. Created from the needs of competitive pro gamers to remain focused during competition, the ROG team forged the Vulcan ANC with both performance and comfort in mind. The Vulcan ANC features 85% active noise cancellation to filter out sounds like low frequency computer fan noise and 30dB passive noise cancellation to reduce a wide range of ambient noises, including background voices.

The Vulcan ANC not only provides gamers an immersive gaming experience with noise cancelling features, but also a comfortable one. The lightweight design of 320g is lighter than other comparable models of the same size, with other headsets weighing around 350g. Soft memory foam encased in breathable Japanese protein leather ensures user comfort even after extended gaming sessions. It is also portable, with a foldable design that easily fits into a durable touring case to take between competitions or LAN parties.

The Vulcan ANC is built with enlarged 40mm headphone drivers for crisp, clear audio. ASUS audio experts optimised the headset for a wide sound stage so audio is balanced with both thundering bass and brilliant mids and highs. A stylish blade-shaped detachable boom microphone has built-in noise filtering technology so teammates hear clear conversations during games instead of ambient noise.

Great SSD, I use this in my partners and daughters laptops. Got the 256gb in my main pc. Thinking abut it my first SSD was the crucial M4 128gb. Paid about £330 for it at the time!

The headset, I got mine last week, great headset, love it, really comfy on, but wish I had waited a bit longer. Any saved pennies is always a big help! :-( The Noice Canceling is great, can hear my heart beating between fighting in game. Bit of a problem when the daughter is shouting at me "DO YOU WANT A CUP OF TEA?!?!"

meh :p

Been able to get the m4 128GB for that sort of price for quite a while on nearly every other etailer site (and it isn't a special deal or anything)

Bring it down to 75 and I might just be tempted to hit the "buy" button ;) :p

Thats because they make no money. This is making no money :p

And that is the issue with the public, that is that they assume a "deal" is £75 for example. which is less than current cost. I would love to give everyone the drive at a crazy price but giving away a product for less than it costs to buy is not very good business sense :D

I am certain the drive will drop but as a number of other etailers dropped the price to be the "cheapest" on this product so many times it then got to a point where margin was in some cases pence. New price structures from Crucial should sort this out though which in turn could see those deals you are looking for :)

Pffffft!

I just want to buy a nice cheap SSD from here!!!!! :D :p

Rough idea/guess as to when this will happen? :)

Well, I have just ordered the crucial m4 128GB SSD for £75 and free delivery, it isn't from a direct competitor so I could probably mention them here or give a clue, but won't anyway just in case :p

I thought I would have received free shipping for the SSD to be shipped to NI, but logged in just to check and I don't and only had the option of the DPD courier which added something like £7.25 on top (and royal mail special delivery, which was like £8), which IMO is too expensive.

So yeah anyway, I would have had to have waited for quite a while in order for the crucial m4 or samsung 830 to be around £65-67 (which isn't going to happen any time soon :p) in order to order from here and the same goes for most other etailers (majority of them are even dearer) :(

EDIT:

Really hope a SSD is worth it! Honestly can't see how my PC could get much snappier than it currently is (using a samsung F3 1TB currently)......

Yep SSD is worth it ;) specially since you ordered the M4!

@Andrew Moore
It is true that this will not make money for you if it falls below the cost price to you, but as a consumer what tempts me is the price for me as a consumer! So if I see the same product £12.50 cheaper elsewhere(with free delivery as well), guess what I would chose?
Warranty with Crucial is handled in UK and they are very good at sorting out any problems(if any), so buying from any etailer is a non issue.

I have bought my M4 from OCUK (when they were double the price now), just wanted to let you know that I think you are missing out.

Same for me i go to the cheaper shop i have no loyalty when it comes to money cheapest shop always wins.

For the sake of a couple of quid I'd always go with OCUK, anything up to £10 in difference and id be tempted to go elsewhere. Bearing in mind I'm not ellibigible for free delivery yet all another retailer has to do is price match OCUK and throw in free delivery and il buy from them
