Different markets, Hitachi 2TB attracts the performance user.

The Seagate attracts more the business/corporate user who values warranty and reliability over performance. :)
 
My point was the price reduction wasn't enough to tempt me into buying the drive thats all. I've been entertaining the idea of getting a 2TB drive for a while now, but i'm happy to wait since the prices seem to be slowly dropping.

FYI - Brought the 2GB Palit. so far so good. great value at the one day price, very quiet too compared to my old XFX 1GB ATI 4870
