Is the 110 series not out soon which is meant to be a single gpu setup with beyond 690 performance
I heard October-November time but consumer chips could be beginning 2013 which is when it was originally arriving. I think gaming performance will be similar from GK104>GK110 despite rumours of up to 3k shaders but compute performance will see marked improvement as was obvious in the build up to GK104. GK110 384-bit bandwidth vs current 256-bit is what's killing the GK104 - it sprints first of the starting block but slams straight into a brick wall. Just my 2p.
