A pair of crackers there. :)

I had to scroll up to have another look at the picture on the screen there just in case it was a tongue in cheek comment.

On a more serious note how does the cooler on the toxic compare to the asus direct cu ones?

The HIS PLUS cards have the best coolers.

Between DirectCU and Toxic, the DirectCU tends to have the edge marginally.

Both are more than ample though. :)

Ok thanks for that, next question, how would this 6950 compare to my current 4870X2+4870 Tri-Fire setup?

Have 2x toxics already(when they were £230), go for a 3rd? :)
would love to but don't think I can justify it having spent over £1500 in the past couple of months on upgrades(£570 on a u2711, £460 on the toxics and the rest on mb, i2500k etc).

no more the fact it was moved to Telford, then apparent 1 month time limit for full refund(for those who bought the tickets prior to the venue change) when they never announced any such time limits. after this I'm not going byoc to anymore iseries events, they've messed me about enough(along with the double standard on the forums, mods(well 1 guy in particular) flaming me then I'm getting infractions for pointing out those double standards).

I know the situation you don't need to fill me in, but you were moaning about not having a job and your rents having to pay your petrol to get to Telford but you've spent £1500 at OcUK in the past few months? You even had a winge about the £10 admin fee! :D

had to upgrade the monitor as the old one(hyundai w240d) went on the fritz and couldn't resist the u2711, the rest(gpu, cp etc) couldn't resist eith as the q6600@3ghz + 5850 wouldn't be able to handle 2560x1440 without cutting back the 'eye candy' :)

the £10 admin fee complaint was due to the '1 month from venu change'(the deadline which was never announced). could have used that £10 rather, loosing it due to mpuks lack of announcement is akin to me burning £10 notes.

apart from the fact I've spent quite a bit on the upgrades already, my psu only has 2x 8pin pci-e connector so will need to use a molex convertor for 3rd one.

how many toxic were in the offer? only 9 left.
