For a girl (dependant on age and mentality/personality), a small cuddly toy?

Would also depend on the situation.

Depends on who, were, what for and when. I know i'm onto a winner if I buy flowers for the misses they are cheap as chips and she loves them, just don't overplay it! Small cuddly toys are normally ok witht the girls as are chocolates etc.
 
Ye, be specific - family/gf/workmate/friend?

In general I'd say chocolate or bath stuff (lush?), as atleast it'll get eaten or used.
 
Something that can be used and finished with - choc treats, nice bottle of wine, bath stuffs etc.

Last thing you want is something that was a nice gift at the time but becomes a piece of tat that you move from shelf to cupboard to box and just takes up space but you dont have the heart to throw it away...
