This, we were having problems joining games and grouping up and turns out my Nat type was listed as moderate (Press F10 and it tells you). Forwarded ports and restarted router and it listed my NAT as open. Been a lot more stable since.

I'm going to assume that the desktop app is the best way to use discord?

Sorted my mic out, it was what you suggested Mynight it somehow changed my default device, just need to get this internet sorted now.
Driving me mad now still can't get uplay to download anything, no help from their support either.

No same mic, that's why I was confused as it was working fine in teamspeak before I joined discord lol owell its sorted now

discord throws a fit with mics sometimes, I've found it to be quite temperamental whether it decided to use mine or not, can be annoying sometimes.
It was a horrific thing. Hearing yourself talk slightly delayed was so off putting.
I vaguely remember a scientist used a similar effect to make people stop talking

Discord was offline more than online tonight. If that continues I'll just set up a a TS server from home.
If everyone's on tomorrow we'll try some ranked matches. Apparantly only the party leader needs to be over 20.

Thanks for the games tonight gentlemen, had some laughs and went up a few ranks. Enjoyed the terrorist hunt games at the end, easy points although I prefer defending, let the points come to us, haha.

Been loving this on casual matchmaking; yet to do ranked until the guys I played with are a bit more settled. Lost one game this evening and won more than I can count. We have a fantastic set-up with some operators and some fantastic breaching teamwork that just works so well!

Ranked seems kinda flawed to me, I'm still not ranked yet and yesterday played against an entire team of gold 2+, other than the changes like less HUD clutter there is not a lot of difference competitiveness wise between the two. A lot of people on reddit have noticed they're still getting down ranked despite winning countless games back-to-back.
TBH I much prefer casual due to the random spawns and objective locations, it's really boring playing against different players who just pick the same locations every time, hereford is always in the armory, house/ consulate are always garage it gets old, at least with casual there is a lot of variation.
Edit: I'll also join you guys tomorrow, I wasn't expecting most of my friends to be on tonight so ended up playing with them for a few hours.

Well from being pwn3d since the first day of playing this up to now I seemed to have turned it round for myself, I was really struggling, opening fire on some-one first but still dying first was my main problem.
I have taken the silencer off all my guns, the damage difference in the stats seems minimal but in-game it's much more, guys drop in half the time it takes with a silencer attached and stay down with no revive option.
I have also opened the ports as posted above which appears to have made the world of difference, no dodgy kill cam's showing the other chap getting the drop on me when it didn't. Not sure how this is possible with just a few ports but I definitely feel .5 of a second in front of most people. Also games connect much much faster and so far no disconnects, would recommend them ports !!

What a game this is ! Classic , think a few of you have added me I should be on tonight after tea for an hour or so if anyone is about ... Was on last night with my mate , it's a good classic shooter which actually requires tactics

I like terrorist hunt but find it so unstable
Ranked games for me have been a lot more hardcore than the casual matches.
- Players are less likely to leave mid-game or give up.
- Players tend to communicate and coordinate more.
- Players are more aware of the map and tactics for the game mode.
- The same goes for the opponents so it ends up being a more exciting/intense match.
- Winning a ranked game definitely feels more rewarding than a casual match (when playing with mates on TS).
