Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Revealed

Must have been a common thing last night, Plenty of times I was back behind a wall and walking away then would just drop dead. Kill cam shows them shooting thin air and me dying.

Nice :).

We were doing so well yesterday until we went up against an all gold team and promptly got our arses handed to us :(. The only one on our team killing them was a French player who I suspect had the advantage of ping :D. He was damn good. Was so close though we went from 3 down to 4 all and on the last match we lost 1v1 :(. Was painful.

We had a "choked defeat" last night. Any idea how that's different from the usual "heartbreaking defeats"?

Some of the opponents are getting pretty irky lately. They chat so much s*** when they are being carried. We cope by pulling together and kicking their a** but sometimes it can't be helped :(

I have no idea. It seems random when they display the message I've seen that on a 2/2 game so no idea .

Yeah its always the lowest in the leaderboards that are the most vocal :D.

Are you guys playing ranked then? I'm a whisker away from lvl 20 to unlock it. My 980ti RMA is due on wednesday thank god! Can't cope with this onobard intel card for much longer! :D

Personally;

1-slow and steady wins the race as long as you're always pushing. Lean everything and try to shoot from cover.

2-knife shields the last thing they expect is for you to rush them. Unless you've got the drop on them or they're a noob/you get lucky shooting head on to them calls for a knife or C4.

3-to counter 1 sometimes rushing in and codding it is the best option as they don't expect it.

4- dont spot on cameras use what you see to tell your squad. Spotting will make them destroy the camera.

5-play with a group it makes a hell of a difference. Can join us if you want/there's enough space.

6-wait for the better players to give tips :D.

Some tips:

1) Slow and steady definitely wins the race but you need to make sure that you are always advancing, even if it's a 1 step backwards for 2 steps forward kind of scenario.

2) Drone, drone, drone. It is a lifesaving tool for yourself and your teammates. Use it to locate enemies for your teammates and only scan if it's a necessity to win the round (i.e. time is ticking). Scanning will notify the opponent that you are watching them and they will try to destroy the drone.

3) Use the security cameras if you can when defending. Same tip about scanning. They can destroy it so it's best to not scan them unless it's necessary.

3) Try to give cardinal directions for your teammates, and left/right if you're helping a specific person. The more specific directions you give, the easier it is for the team to advance or take the objective.

4) If the team is moving together make sure someone is watching the flank.

5) Understand all the operators' skills/gadgets to better choose an operator that would best support the team's needs. Team composition can easily win or lose the game. For example, only Thermite can breach through reinforced walls.

6) Control the chaos. When defending try to funnel the opponents into choke points. When attacking create new pathways to catch them by surprise.
