Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Revealed

Haha I have actually watched them all , although good , that music just about tops them :D

I can't account for taste :p.

Are there any issues with this game that mean I should not buy it just yet?

All I here is positive things and I am desperate to try it.

It's definitely got its negatives like a hit and miss netcode issues, dodgy killcam and a almost absent anti cheat system. However I would say 99/100 times I get a dodgy death it's legit just a naff killcam/me throwing a hissy fit. Also can be temperamental with squadding up however most of the time restarting the game fixes it.

Despite the issues it's easily the most fun I've had game wise in a while. Even getting recked is enjoyable :D (could be due to who I play with that makes it fun though).

+1

This game is still quite broken if we're going to be honest. For folks like me it's the best and most fun tactical shooter since Swat 4 so I'm going to hang in there and hope that things will be fixed. Even if they didn't fix it, I can still see myself play this for the next year or two the gameplay is really that good and worth the patience for them to fix it.

The netcode still have issues but it has been improved a lot since it's release in December. Patch 2.0 is coming out in a couple weeks along with new operators and a new map. I believe there are only good things to come with this game.

Honestly in its current state id still buy it again.

If they can fix the above mentioned issues and;
-allow proper dedi servers.
-add in that spectator view conjoined with an overwatch style recording of games.
-maybe allow community map creation.

It could be a counterstrike competitor. It's not the same game by any means but contains a lot of the teamwork/tactics aspect with the twist of destructible environments.

It's got all it needs to be an amazing game but it's falling short at the moment :(.

Yeah I really don't regret buying it at all.

The rate theyre patching it seems good and as long as the issues get sorted quickly this could be a game I play for years.

Even though most of us were passed tonight we still absolutely owned them until the last round :(.

BG also wins most inappropriate comment of the night :D. Not 100% sure I can use that clip now lol.

Ergh I looked into what you mentioned digi about players being DDOSed off.

5 minutes with a bit of free software I got the IPs of the enemy team by name :(. Disgustingly easy to do :(. Wouldn't have taken much to ddos them after getting IP especially considering we know the ports that are being used.

I would have thought it would be standard practise to obfuscate information like that but ubis sending it in clear text .

It's only the voip that's available but due to not being able to disable it you can't get around it.

Although I wonder if there's something I can edit easily to prevent voip connecting.

I was sat last night watching some of the original footage of this game and I think it's a shame that you can't drag the hostage around as a terrorist. Although I can see why they did this (mainly people using them as a human shield) I definitely think it would have added a new dimension to the game. A good way would have been to limit the amount of time you can hold the hostage, any idea why they removed it?

Because that would make things way to easy for the defenders, you would end up with the hostage being dumped in the path of Thermite's charges or other explosive devices or in a cupboard with only one entry point it just would not work IMO.

Yeah I guess so, just seems odd it was in the there and they removed it. I imagine it just didn't work very well so they removed it.

Also remember in counterstrike when you could do this and the hostages would end up somewhere glitchy like on top of a tree or something. People would always find a way to exploit it.

Is that the ultra HD pack? I'm using that but doesn't seem to increase load items (I am using an SSD though). Is it only for 4K anyway? I just installed it when I bought the game..
