Just played the demo, and im thinking about picking this up cheap as it was really fun, and i really enjoyed all the obstacles and stuff, shooting wasent great but i enjoye the platforming bits better.

But one thing in the demo is you cant enable next gen content, it looked nice maxed out on normal, but what exactly does next gen content add? Does it look a lot better?

Also whats better out of this and anniversery? Gameplay and graphics?

Next gen does make the game look a lot better but there is also a big hit on the performance.

Personally out of the 2 id get Anniversary as i enjoyed playing it much more than Legend.

Graphically Legend is better because Anniversary doesnt feature the next gen content but imo gameplay wise it is much better
 
As above, does indeed look much better in Next Gen mode, but will be fine performance wise as hes got a 640mb GTS, ran like a dream for me maxed out 1280x1024 in Next Gen mode. :)

Anniversary is great as well.
 
thanks very much :) i only plat at 1440x900 anyway.

I will get legends of steam probably as its pretty cheap on there (about $19=about a tenner)
 
Grab the 1.1 patch for Legends as that fixes the performance, theres also a 1.2 patch, but i dunno what that one does as just patched to 1.1. :)

Well worth a tenner. :D

I got it off flea bay for around 3 quid , Bargain :D

Looking at your spec you will have no problem running next gen content

I only have a 320mb 8800 GTS and single core P4 processor but was able to run TRL with next Gen at 1680 x 1050 with no slowdown whatsoever.
 
wow, i bought this yesterday off steam at about the same time now, its been 24 hours an d its only on 88% rofl :p, shows how crap VM 4mb connection is.
