Downloaded it today cos was abit bored and i loved it. its abit strange because i have never been a fan of the tomb raider series but i really liked this one, i think the graphics kept me hooked.

what do you guys think of it?

Its possibly my favourite of the 360 games apart from the multiplayer ones like PGR and Graw. I found it very absorbing just doing a level or two each day to get the full 100% game complete.

Unlike most 360 demos at the time, the TR:Legends one was extremely well received by the gamers. I never liked the original TR games and only played the first one for about 5mins before getting bored. Legends was a breath of fresh air - never bought it though :p

Legends is great, very easy compared to the older games (well 1-3) and the movement has changed a lot but it doesn't make it a worse game.

Only took me around 7 hours to complete but it's not bad if you pick it up s/hand.

horrible game.

poor control system, puzzles which are badly devised and small (very) linear levels. the whole thing has an extremely 'contrived' feeling to it. mainstream rubbish tbh.

this is the videogame equivalent of pop-music.

I'm sorry but I feel the complete opposite, the game had great controls and superb puzzles that were perfectly balanced. I do agree that the levels where fairly linear but overall the game felt very polished and solid which is rare these days. The story was brilliant and intriguing too.

fairly linear?

how many paths can you take through the levels?

one.

it's just go from point a to point b to point c etc etc. this game is little more than a [slightly] interactive cartoon.

The only puzzle I thought was poor was the first level gold coin. I doubt anyone could find that without a FAQ or hint.

That would be the majority of games these days then?

TRL is the best TR game since #1, I loved it and completed it to 100%. Still probably the most enjoyable game I've played on the 360 so far :)
